Applications are invited for engagement of One Research Associate (RA) in a sub – project of National Agricultural Innovation Project (NAIP) at Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology, Ludhiana, Punjab.

Research Associate:
i) Number of Post:  One
ii) a) Essential    Qualification
Ph.D. in Agricultural Process Engineering/ Post– Harvest Engineering & Technology /Cryogenic Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Food Science and technology/Dairy & Food Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics/ Chemical Engineering/ Physics/ Chemistry and relevant discipline. or
Master degree in any of the above subjects with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA/CGPA with at least 2 years of research/ teaching/ industrial experience as evidenced from fellowship/ associate ship/ training/ other engagements.
b) Desirable Qualification: Published research papers, exposure to conducting basic studies and statistical analysis software packages.
iii) Remuneration Rs. 24000/-+ HRA (Rs. 23000/- + HRA for Masters degree holders) per month consolidated
iv) Age limit: 40 years for Men and 45 years for Women

b) Desirable Qualification
Published research papers, exposure to conducting basic studies on properties of spices and its optimization, design and development of processing equipment, cryogenic processing of foods, AUTO CAD/ Pro E and statistical analysis software packages.

   iv) Age limit: 40 years for Men and 45 years for Women

a) Essential: Ph.D. in relevant discipline or M.Sc./M. Tech. with at least 2 years research/teaching/design & development experience in Post–Harvest Engineering & Technology/Agricultural Process Engineering/Dairy & Food Engineering/Food Processing/Food Science and Nutrition/Food Technology/ Biochemistry (Preferably Food Biochemistry)/ Food Microbiology/ Food Biotechnology.
b) Desirable
   
Exposure to Food processing, food quality analysis, GC operating, statistical analysis software packages.

iii) Remuneration: Rs. 16000/ p.m. + 20% HRA + Rs. 100/ Medical Allowances
iv) Age limit: 35 years (with relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC as per existing rules)
